How can we help?
Most things can be done in the app. For anything else, write to us.
Feeling unsafe right now?
Leave, and call 999. Then tell us.
A problem with a job
Customers: open the job and tap Report a problem. You can do that at any point once a Fixer is booked. The timers and the cost of the job are attached for you, and a person looks at it.
Fixers: report it from the Active job tab, or from your job history.
If a cost on your job is not one you recognise, decline it in the app with a reason. Nothing is charged until a cost is approved.
Paying and your wallet
- You pay when the job is finished, from your wallet, by card, or both. Card payments are taken by Stripe; Fixert keeps no card details.
- To have money in your wallet sent back to the card you added it with, write to us and say how much. It has to be unspent.
- If your card was charged and the job still shows as waiting, give it a minute: the bank is finishing. If it still shows as waiting after a few minutes, write to us with the job’s reference.
For Fixers
- Your application: the app tells you as soon as you can go online. If it is taking longer than you expected, write to us.
- Payouts: ask for one from the Earnings tab. It is checked and sent by bank transfer, usually within two working days.
- Bank details: change them under Profile, Bank details. For your safety the full number is never shown again; type the new details in full.
Your password
Tap Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen. We email you a code; use it to choose a new password.
Deleting your account
In Fixert: Account, then Delete account at the foot of the page.
In Fixert Service: Profile, then Delete account.
Your account can be deleted once nothing is open: no job in progress or waiting to be paid, no Fixer payout on its way, and no money left in a customer’s wallet. What is removed and what is kept is set out in the privacy policy.
